Alex Wilkerson is an indie rock songwriter based in Bisbee, Arizona, whose musical journey began right here in Prattville. As a teenager, he cut his teeth busking outside The Pasta Mill before landing his first paying gigs at Fox’s Pizza, laying the foundation for a decade of life on the road and in the music scene.
Since then, Wilkerson has performed hundreds of shows across the country, from Alabama to Arizona, Oregon, and countless stops in between, developing a sound that is both atmospheric and deeply personal. Blending thoughtful songwriting, warm melodies, and indie rock sensibilities, his music feels equally suited for a long drive, a late-night conversation, or a summer evening under the stars.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Alex’s first performance in Prattville, making his debut at The Lyric a true homecoming celebration. Join us as we welcome one of Prattville’s own back to the stage for an evening of honest songs, memorable stories, and sunny indie rock.
The Lyric at Esther’s is an All-Ages, Family-Friendly venue with Free Admission, Games, Food and Sporting Events on Big-Screen Televisions. Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed on site.
